Hash Hedge and Walbi launch the World Series of Crypto Trading (WSCT): the first global trading series with a live human vs AI final in Dubai

Hash Hedge, a global proprietary trading firm, has announced the launch of theWorld Series of Crypto Trading (WSCT)— a landmark global competition, set to culminate in a live final in Dubai. Qualifiers begin September 22 on the Hash Hedge platform, with the grand final scheduled for October 28–29 during the Blockchain Life 2025 forum, one of the largest blockchain conferences in the world.

A New Global Stage for Crypto Trading

The WSCT introduces a competition where all participants start under equal conditions. By October 20, eight finalists will be determined, each receiving an all-expenses-paid trip to Dubai, including flights, accommodation, transfers and access to Blockchain Life 2025.

At the grand final, traders will compete not only against one another but also against artificial intelligence. Tournament technology partnerWalbiwill introduce three AI-driven strategies that will trade in real time alongside humans — marking the first event where algorithms and traders face off live before thousands of spectators.

The winner will take home theWSCT bracelet— a symbol of trading excellence — together with a cash prize and a Hash Hedge-funded account equal to the combined profits of all finalists.

The launch of WSCT represents a milestone for the crypto trading industry. Just as global poker tournaments once turned professional players into household names, WSCT is expected to create the first icons of the fast-growing crypto trading market.

Participation Rules and AI Showdown

Participation is open through both the Hash Hedge and Walbi platforms. On Hash Hedge, contestants enter with a $50,000 WSCT-marked account provided by the company. The account remains under the trader’s management even after the competition, and participants retain 80% of any profits regardless of their final standing. On Walbi, entry is available with a deposit starting from $100, with results based on profitability and at least 20 trades required. As with Hash Hedge, participants keep their funds and profits in full.

The tournament format also includes innovative elements. AWildcardentry, based on global sports competitions, will give one “dark horse” the chance to go straight to the final, showing that legends can come from anywhere. AnEarly Birdregistration option lets traders sign up before the official start date of September 22. This gives them more time to practice and improve their strategies.

The climax of WSCT will unfold at Blockchain Life 2025, where the eight best traders will compete offline for two days at the WSCT booth. Alongside the finalists and Walbi’s AI strategies, well-known figures from the crypto industry will also take the stage. Walbi will further enhance the tournament by digitizing the strategies of the top 20 traders, creating unique “digital trader” profiles that capture and preserve their approach.
